First you have to know that a song in UltraStar consists of at least two parts: the MP3 file and the TXT file. The MP3 file is of course the song which is played in the background and the TXT file contains all information UtraStar needs to show how and when to sing which syllable.

There are Several Possibilites to Create Songs (or Rather TXT Files) Yourself or Alter Them:

1. The TXT File

2. Altering with the Internal Editor

3. MIDI File as Template
